Community Grants

CECO provides funds annually to improve services and/or develop new programs to benefit the diverse communities of San Diego County.

CECO typically funds tangible goods, such as equipment, furnishings, and other durable goods that directly benefit the population being served by the program.
Employee Crisis Fund

CECO provides emergency assistance to County of San Diego employees and/or retirees who are experiencing a financial hardship resulting from uncertain, sudden, severe, and unexpected event(s). 

The decision to grant funds is based on the applicant's eligibility, need, and circumstances underlying the lack of resources, as well as funding available. 
This assistance is designed to fill an unexpected (emergency) financial need that will allow the individual to be financially self-sufficient moving forward.

  1. Download the Employee Crisis Fund application.​
  2. A CECO representative will be in contact with applicant for any questions, comments and final decisions.
